P&H Crane History
P&H was taken over by Terex
(in their case, in 1995).
However, the company had a long history,
founded as a machine shop in 1884
by Alonzo Pawling and Henry Harnischfeger.
Over the years, P&H would change names to Harnischfeger,
though P&H would continue to grace their cranes.
They'd also enter partnerships with other companies,
and then be taken over in 1995
by Terex, who would quietly retire the name.
This P&H crane is a testament
to the company's high-quality workmanship.
