Description
1998 Mack CL713 Tri Axle Dump used for sale
has a 460 horsepower diesel that runs strong.
It's equipped with a Maxitorque 8LL transmission.
It's been very well maintained,
and if you take the same care of it
that its current owner has,
this truck could double the 326,966 miles
it currently has on it.
We have been unable to verify the rear ratios
and axle weights on this truck.
However, it is believed to have 44,000 pound rears,
a 20,000 pound drop axle,
and an 18,000 pound front axle.
has an aluminum 17.6 yard Hewey dump body.
In this case, it's somewhat different than the usual.
Designed and used mostly for sand,
it has 70" sides.
The dump body's in good shape,
and the hydraulics still provide respectable raise and lower times.
Overall, this is a very good truck.
We encourage you to schedule
an in-person inspection to see it for yourself.
as it was a century ago
for its tradition of power and innovation.
Its commitment to quality and longevity
also should not be overlooked.
The Mack CL713 may not have been popular the first time out,
but as truckers have come to realize,
the CL713 continues Mack's tradition
of building trucks with
the power and tenacity
that earned them the "Bulldog" nickname
long before the bulldog mascot
ever graced their trucks.
A Mack isn't your ordinary truck;
it's a vehicle with a pedigree.
