Not many heavy equipment manufacturers can boast a dozer with a nearly 80-year history, but the Caterpillar D6 is just such a machine. It was first introduced in 1935, but since Caterpillar isn't a company to be complacent about quality, it's undergone some changes over the years, and has even seen military service under the armed forces designation SNL G152.

The D6R replaced the beloved D6H in 1996, following the introduction of the LGP D6M the previous year. This is a 1998 CAT D6R XL Crawler Tractor with 10,108 hours. The D6R is a variant on the D6 series first introduced in 1996 as one of the replacements for the D6H (the other, one year earlier, was the D6M). It's powered by a turbocharged 189hp CAT 3306 diesel engine. This particular model is an American-built standard width extended track length powershift tractor. It has a 74" track gauge. The machine has a 12' 8" blade, and measures 18' 9" x 8'2"x 10' 8" (LxWxH). It has an 8' track width with 22" pads. Its undercarriage is in fair condition, and it weighs in at 42,000 lbs. Please note that the TOPCON GPS system is not included in the sale of this dozer.
